Survived the evacuation and avoided the police! I have never seen mass panic before and it is ugly. People were playing bumper car on the road and the police were pushing the cars into the ditch! It was mass insanity. I participated in the mass hysteria for a while then changed my attitude to one of defiance and went home. I can't imagine what the rapture will produce!
180 to 200 thousand people heading to the same place in less than 45 minutes. Going the opposite direction was a peaceful ride with no agitation. I drove into a world where I was alone, no traffic, no people, absolute quiet! It was great! I was working on a lawn mover and needed parts so I jumped into the truck and drove into a ghost town! No one anywhere! I thought of the movie "Left Behind."
The reason I left was, as I watched the tv my phone went off and I didn't touch it. It made the noise used for alerting people of pending danger and then a voice saying "THE OROVILLE DAM WILL FAIL IN 45 MINUTES ... THIS IS A MANDITORY EVACUATION NOTICE FOR:
It got my attention! I did not know the phones have that capacity.
They began allowing people back into the area yesterday so the world is getting back to the normal Yuck.
