Ride

Rode my baby to church yesterday morning. It was only one step below a fiery chariot but I have more horses! I am hoping that the new plates come today because it will be over 100 today and tomorrow and I would love to be in the redwoods where it is cool, there is shade, and it is beautiful. I am thinking that the scooter plates may cause some concern especially when I have no title or registration and am pulled over for being an outlaw biker. There is a danger of that.

I was going to place her on the steps of the church and take a picture but the cops were all gathered at the dog pound across the street. I doubt if they would cut me any slack if I rode the bike down the sidewalk in front of them to take a picture.

Getting anxious to come home again, its been a while. I get to be a crotchety old man and now with old Harley language emerging from time to time it is not safe to engage the congregation!

Love you All

First ride

My first ride after the shock of having my son visit in California! You can see that I am very stiff and using a High degree of caution. What a ride! Rode about 5 miles down Colusa Highway toward the costal mountain range. It was hard to stop .... because that would mean turning the Harley around without dropping it on the ground. Wasn't sure I could do that.... she is much heavier than I remembered. When I returned Cory took this picture of an old Harley Rider and his bike. Long live iron horsemen and the smell they produce!

Labor day supprise

I am depressed .... I dropped Cory off and the airport and now I miss him already. What a great time even though there was nothing to do. I showed him the highlights of the area which took about 2 hrs, ate at some buffets, introduced him to my farmer friends and the rest of the time was just sitting and talking of about a thousand subjects but mainly his adventure on the road with the bike . That time was far superior to my Harley Riding in fact on Monday neither of us even fired it up. Truly hated to see him go. He is still in the airport and I call to see if he found his plan or changed his mind and decided to stay but he failed to answer the phone.

What a great weekend ... He was not impressed with my living arrangement, nor was he impressed with my maintenance of it. He said I need a new car and that he saw a hundred RV's stranded along the road that were of the same vintage as mine. He did like the stained glass window in the church!!! Made my day!

Ok peeps I am now referred to as "Bad Boy Biker!" Being cool is soooooo easy now that it is effortless. I am the road. I am the curve, I am the rumble you hear passing your indoor motor vehicle with all the comforts of home. I am in the wind. I am sun. I am a Bad Boy Biker.

Thanks Cordog!!!!
