I am soooooo board. The church family is gone. Many to Alaska on a cruse. Some to Lake Tahoe. Many are camping for the last time of the summer. Me, I am in Gridley all by myself. I believe God went camping with His "Tent of the Meeting." Church will be empty. I will have nowhere to go except to the casino for brunch. No wind to sail.
O yea. I offered a person $700 for a scooter much like mine and it has 300 miles on it. He took it so I need to pick it up. I hate buying things.
Well, I suppose I should go. I wish I knew where to.
Keep safe this weekend. Love you all.

Monday Monday so good to me
I got the mustang running. Bought a new lap top (from Costco). Face is getting smaller. Hope to get my scooter on the porch today to begin the overhaul. I plan to go sailing tomorrow but must keep in mind I need to get the generator on the RV functional. Plan to do a small campout soon before the rain. Watching for cheap flights to Des Moines. It is cheaper to fly to Kalamazoo from here. Anniversary present on the way. Thinking I need a different vehicle. Baptized Tanner yesterday! Fasting. Weather is finally cooling off. Only 92 today.
And that's about it. LOVE YA

This week at a glance
It has been a most wonderful week. Lets see ... last Saturday I rode up the mountain to see the fires. things went well until I returned to the flat ground. About 26 miles from home I blew up my scooter in 103 degree heat. I pushed it nearly 15 miles before someone stopped to help. Then my laptop died. It ran enough to get some information I needed for church but all the pictures are gone along with the Captains Log I kept for my sailboat. I may still be able to retrieve it.
I got bit on the chin by some kind of bug and the right side of my head swelled up with a huge scab looking like I am a cage fighter.
This morning I got in the Mustang and it was stuck in park. After searching the internet I discovered that if a Mustang's brake lights are non functional the whole car shuts down. It seems that I slammed the wiring harness in the trunk lock and severed a wire which blew a fuse which locked the car in park. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!
I drove the Motor Home around town today for transportation. I went from 6 cents a mile with my scooter to 60 cents a mile with the RV. I am ready to by a Buntline bus pass.
Hope your week went well! Love you.

Interceptor is dead
Saturday I had adjusted and replaced the valve tappets on the Interceptor and she was running good! There was a forest fire in the foothills S.E. of Oroville and I thought that would be a great place to spend the day ... so off to the mountains I went to see the fire. The scooter was running better than it had for a long while so I kept pushing her to see what she could do in the mountains. I considered using her for transportation back from Fort Brag when I took the RV over for a couple of weeks leaving it there. It did great in the higher elevations but on returning to the flats and the 103 heat she gave out about 23 miles from home. That is when I realized I had left my phone at home. Pushing a bike in 103 heat with no shade brought back memories of my Harley days! I have much experience doing this and did so for several hours adding more experience. 100 pickups (empty) passed me. 1000 cars passed me and NO ONE even slowed down let alone moving over to so I didn't need to dive into the ditch or get hit. Friendly place. Finely a family of four in an old broken down car stopped and gave me some water! Wow! I need that more than I had anticipated. He let me use his phone to call for help but only answering machines. He wished me luck and drove on after I thanked him for the water. A little while later here came the same car with no family. He took the wife and kids to the park and dropped them off and came back to give me a ride to the church. There are good Samaritans left in this world.
I am debating what to do with the Interceptor, let her rest in peace OR PUT IN A 232 CRATE HIGH END RACING ENGINE THAT IS GARENTEED TO DO 80 MPH OUT OF THE BOX!!!! But I must realize the rest of the bike is still Chinese junk. What would you do?
