Drove to the top of the mountains for a retreat! Why would anyone want to go to snow to be on retreat you ask. The reason is this, if you are from the valley they think it is fun! Seriously .... the cabin I was in was a 7 million dollar structure and it was covered with ice and snow to the point I literally walked by it twice before I could see it and it is three stories high! This is my favorite spot to stop on the way to Tahoe.
