The stuff is called Imbruvica. I made it through the day with a little pain in the abdomen and slightly dizzy. For the most part not bad. Got a 65 gallon fish tank given to me today to let the fish stretch out. Cleaned it up a bit and filled it with water and NO leaks!!

If they keep growing they will be dinner soon.

Well! I took my first dose of meds last night and Woke Up This Morning!!! I haven't left the house yet and it is 10 AM. Kinda trying to see what the reaction may be. SO FAR NONE!!! Well I wont say that because IT MAY COME IN HANDY FOR AN EXCUSE SOME DAY.  O yea ,,, the meds did it.

They are putting me on the pill! My whites went down again after reaching 85k. Saw Dr. Dave today and we are going to use the pill method to combat the issue. I could have an experimental method that may arrest the growth for some time but I want to come home for Christmas. The pill is also brand new so I can't get it at any pharmacy it must be from a specialty shop!!! The only one is in Sacramento so they will ship them to me if the insurance agrees.

Happy birthday to my sweet baby girls! You were the cutest babies and love the results of your growing up. I pray health and happiness to you  both for many more years.

I have been painting a house for a pregnant couple who don't have anything in preparation for their baby. I proved to myself that I was correct when I decided that painting should not be a profession I should engage. Paint gun blew up in my hand covering me with paint from head to foot. I forgot to take my glasses off and put a hat on. Did you know that latex builds body in you hair?

The 21st is growing closer!!

Love you all

For the last month or so I have been trying to be a "Sabbath Keeper." As you may know, the Sabbath was set apart by God on the seventh day to rest. It  being a festival, is also the centerpiece for all the festivals ordained and commanded by God. It is surprising to realize Sunday, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas are no on that list! History will depict how these came about and they, to my estimation, all are devoid of the hand of God. So I am trying to become a Sabbath Keeper. From Friday sundown to Saturday sundown I try to keep it holy. I am now in my house, away from the office, with no college football or any other TV eating food that was purchased yesterday, cold pizza and diet Pepsi. I am reading Scripture without the purpose of informing the congregation of content and purpose. I have found it to be unusual in the course of the rest of the week, can't explain it, but a difference. It even removed much of the dread I experienced on Sunday worship. Now Sunday is not the holy of hollies but the first day of the week the people of the congregation expect to worship. I kept Saturday holy, to the best of my ability, so Sunday is LET ER RIP BABY!

Ride

Rode the Harley up to my favority caffee in the Mountains today with a friend but it was closed. It looks like a biker bar but I was shocked when I entered the place and it had a sign on the door,"Real men love Jesus."

Another sign said "I heard you lost your cat, look under my tire." I said to my self, my kind of place!
Beautiful day for a ride.

This is a shot of the lighting system in our cabin from outside in the rain. I was on my way to the tolet box in the woods and thought this is the way it should be. The toilet box on the other hand should be replaced.

the dawg and me

Here he is hitching a ride from someone or some thing more reliable that the Motor Home. Not sure where this is but Red Rock is my guess.
Slamin down the orange soda to climb the sand dunes, o yea, fair skinned people need a little sunblock.
Trying to catch you up on life in the slow lane. If you remember the day when I announced the birth of a new fish (bubbles) in my tank, well bubbles was followed by hundreds of other baby fish. I didn't have the heart to take them out so I bought Jack Dempsey to slim the population. Unfortunately he ate everything, including bubbles.

FIXED O YEA!!!!!

I broke the key  off in the hood latch and all the other compartments were open. So with only one key and it being broken in half I had to resort to DUCK TAPE!!!! MY FRIEND IN NEED!!!

Preparing for blastoff

This is the crew ship Enterprise. It is old and so are we, but we do it anyway.

Special Times of Life

I went over to the Feather River Casino for stake night and car show so there was no outside parking. I rode the Harley into the bottom level of the parking garage and had dinner. Later I came to the Harley and fired her up. Walking by was a family and when she roared to life the father huffed and stepped sideways and the little girl screamed.  Awww, some moments are just precious.
Spok Playing drums with marshmello sticks over the downed Romulon ship. Celibrating out first victory!

Beans Beans the musical fruit

Our first encounter with camping was on the end of LAX runway. Every seven minutes there would be the roar of a huge plane blasting off to parts of the world I have never seen. The Ocean however was great and you could have campfires on the beach! Too bad I had no wood.

Gone were men have gone before

This is the beginning of our voyge. Sone everything starts to break and I changed Cole for "Bones" to "Scotty."

Beans by the sea

thought this was a more private way to communicate with the family other than FB. I am realizing there is no privacy there. Just thought I would share a few moments of the trip with you.

Dean, Dan, and Marilyn ... Dan receiving instruction on pizza purchase. Marilyn giving instructions for pizza purchase. Dean wondering where is the pizza?
Len having eaten before he came smiles.
Sherry and Deb I don't know what they are doing.
sheriff 007 watching the retired people play dangerously IN the WATER! What could possess grown people to do such a thing? If they had been in the boat that Ronnie tipped shooting a turtle they would be wiser for the experience, but no ... they did not have good parents who let them learn how to swim. God put fish in the sea and man/woman on dry ground... and said it was good. Need she say more?

Been sick today so it was a day to slow down, lay in bed with the electric blanket on 8. As I lay toasting in bed it allowed me to realize I have been here in CA for seven years. When I came here I thought I would be here for six months at the maximum. I remember flying out for an interview and with the encouragement of the South Side Pastors association's encouragement who said, "You have to check it out, it has the Holy Spirit finger prints all over it!." After arriving I tried to talk them out of hiring me by saying, "you don't want me. I am an old war horse who is tired and very beat up." Well, here it is seven years later.
So I have declared that it is my year of Jubilee. I have moved into a ministry that is true, based on the Word and not on tradition. I don't know what this ministry will look like because I have never been here before, nor has my congregation. Willing to "hear what the Spirit says to the churches" and move in that direction according to the direction of God. That is extremely unusual from my experience. I wonder how long I will remain here. Its God's call. I am actually excited by the possibilities of participating in a movement of the Holy Spirit. A chance to be the church of Jesus Christ and not what man has made it.

Enough rambling  really missing you all today

Wokin on da RV

I was told I could not fix the plumbing lines in the RV because they were too old and odd sized. Why do people lie? I went to the RV place in Yuba and they fixed me up! I think. I haven't tired it yet but hopping to accomplish it this week,

Got the motor home back today ... who knew it has two fuel filters in it! Only cost $209 and it I had known there were two it would have cost @36 at the most. Do you think the manual would mention that?
Gong to get it prepared to travel for this summer .... any takers? I am sooooo board without company of my family. Start saving your cash and I will rent a house on the beach off season for us to play in. The weather is the same on the North coast most of the year but much cheaper this time of year.
I saw the boys put down their I phones, I pads, and note books and engage the world for several hours. I even saw them talking to each other .... Cole liked the girls volleyball on the beach. They had on small uniforms.
Well, I have men's Bible study tonight so:

Its over

Driving the motor home in rush hour traffic Sacramento .... it died. Got it running enough to get back to Yuba city where it died again and where it remains, but the story aint over yet.

Sunday, January 5, 2014

took a walk on the Santa Cruse board walk last night ... It was closing and becoming dark and deserted.  I noticed that Logan was in full alert and asked him why .... he said he was creeped out because it looked like a place where a Scooby Doo adventure would happen. I laughed so hard, he was serious. Then we went to a Chinese place for dinner .... horrible .... suffered all night with stomach pains. Got up this morning to a fight at the front desk of the hotel, borrowed a bicycle and rode to the pier. Now waiting for the family to arise and go to the airport.

wish you were here!

its over

Mr. Toads Wild Ride is over ... She was missing a little on the way back from Monterey but today in rush hour traffic in Sacramento on the way to Las Vegas we lost all power. No steering, no brakes, no where to land. We coasted off the road and sat for several hours (it seemed) and then out of no where it started and we sputtered back to Yuba City,  23 miles from home, and bam ... no power. This time she did not start. Called the toe truck, rented a car and came home. Mr. Toad is exhausted from his not so wild, or perhaps too wild, ride.

Rock and Roll

This is fun! I spent the first year of my life picking them up out the field and then throwing them into a ravine somewhere on the farm. Second phase of my life I dozed them in holes and buried them for area farmers. Now that I am old .... I PLAY ON THEM!!!!

Putting the babys to bed ... Good night John boy!

The first night was interesting but all fell asleep .... around 3. The next night things were different after crawling on rocks all day and playing surf tag with the ocean. Maga .... well Maga remains Maga in all circumstances. It is around 65 today with bright sun. The boys are in my office playing with the internet. I guess the world is much small today. A trip to Storm Lake where you actually got by the water was incredible and a once a year trip past Okoboji in a car ride would spin thoughts of adventure for years in my day!

Not too proud of this one.

I can still order at McDonald's. I hold up three fingers and get a double Mac!

Good Morning Happy Campers!!! NOT

Look mom, you forgot the TV channel  remote and there is no WiFi. Our world is over. As Logan reads his cereal with brail, Cole looks at me with his dead Ipod. I had a great picture of Sharon screaming out the window as I got close to the edge of a cliff; it was just window, surf and Sharon at about 200 feet. It would have been a great cover for "Mr. Toad's Wild Ride." I remember once in Disney World that one of the girls did not like that ride ... that is why it came to mind.

Heading home today we think.
